Thank you for helping us make an impact!

After supporting the construction of six dog parks in our hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee, PetSafe Brand saw an opportunity to make an even bigger impact in the pet community by offering other communities a way to earn the money they need to build their own dog park.

In 2011, we developed and launched the nationwide Bark for Your Park program with the goal of providing dog parks that the community’s members, civic leaders and pet owners would truly love, use and support for years to come. For us, the program is all about finding enthusiastic, pet-loving communities that support allocating green space, invest time and energy in improving their community and encourage responsible pet ownership.

Turn Your Yard Into a Dog Park
Dog parks provide the venue and opportunity for dogs to get vital exercise and socialization, which are two major factors in reducing behavior issues. If your community is still lacking a local dog park, or if you’re unable to take your pet to the dog park for any reason, don’t worry! You can turn your backyard into a fun, safe area for your pets to enjoy with our Featured Bark for Your Park products.

Launch into endless play

You don’t need a big backyard to play ball. In fact, the Automatic Ball Launcher creates playtime inside or out.

Freedom to run around

No trenches to dig or wires to bury. The Free to Roam Wireless Fence™ System lets you create a secure boundary for your pet to enjoy freedom and fun!

Come and go anytime

Easy-to-install, weather-resistant and perfect for pets of most sizes, the Freedom® Aluminum Door gives your pet all the independence he needs.

Hydrated and healthy

Use inside or out to give your pets access to fresh, filtered water anytime with the Drinkwell® Everflow Indoor/Outdoor Fountain.

About Bark for Your Park
For the right community, a dog park can provide the venue and opportunity for dogs to get vital exercise and socialization, helping reduce the number of pets euthanized due to behavior. And, that’s the legacy that PetSafe® Brand wants to leave in communities across the U.S. through our annual Bark for Your Park™ grant-giving program.

Making Communities Better

To date, PetSafe Brand has helped fund 45 parks through the Bark for Your Park program. Aside from the financial support, our Bark for Your Park program has been credited with bringing together entire communities and fostering a bond that lasts long beyond the construction of the dog park.

In 2016, we changed the giving structure of the Bark for Your Park program to enable us to help even more communities make their dog park dreams come. Instead of five communities receiving a total of $200,000 in prizes, we awarded 25 communities a total of $275,000 in prizes, including five new park awards valuing $25,000 each, 10 park makeover awards valuing $10,000 each, and 10 park maintenance awards valuing $5,000 each.
