Hutto Dog Park Lovers Unite! The CIty of Hutto and StarMark Dog Academy are working together to provide space for a future dog park facility. The Parks & Recreation Department is working with a groups of citizens (Hutto Dog Park on Facebook / http://huttodogpark.weebly.com/about.html ) a girl scout working on a Gold Award, local businesses, an architecture firm and members of the Parks Advisory Board to try and make this facility happen soon. This is a collaborative effort to try and win this contest so we can fund a facility for Hutto residents to provide a safe, off leash space our pets to enjoy. BARK THE VOTE! VOTE HUTTO!

Friends of the Hutto Dog Park will be in attendance at this event! This year’s series begins on June 10 when the CODY BRYAN BAND scoots into the pavilion. Texas native Cody Bryan has one of those rich, resonant voices that is perfectly suited for country, whether he’s rocking a honky-tonk on Saturday night or soothing regret-filled hearts on Sunday morning. WRECK ME, the Cody Bryan Band’s debut album, showcases Bryan’s considerable vocal and songwriting skills on ten strong tracks, most co-written during one marathon weekend in Nashville. Standouts include the first single, “If I’m Going Nowhere,” the love song, “When We Were Made,” and the title track “Wreck Me”. Helmed by producer and Blue October bassist Matt Noveskey, WRECK ME transcends geographic or stylistic boundaries while heralding the arrival of an important new talent. Cody is accompanied by Zach Lynch on lead guitar, Miles Barker on bass, Casey Conway on drums and Cole Gramling on keys to create the Cody Bryan Band! Things are definitely hot in Texas in July and Fritz Park will be no exception when the Austin Music Awards nominee for “Best Under 18 Band” TWENTY FOUR SEVEN make their way to town on Tuesday, July 8. Teenage Texas rockers TWENTY FOUR SEVEN features brothers Nikko Vallejo (17) on guitar & vocals and Matthew Vallejo (14) on drums & vocals, joined by Christian Ruiz (17) on bass & vocals, & CJ Bills (15) on Lead vocals & guitar. The band’s bloodline chemistry is evident as soon as the boys hit the stage. Produced by AJ Vallejo of the award-winning Austin band Vallejo, the band’s new CD is a fiery debut youthfully crafted to let the masses know they’re here to make some noise and have some fun. With the youngest band member at the age of 14, TWENTY FOUR SEVEN is way ahead of the game and ready to set the world on fire. While the guys have competed and won several competitions, but nothing excites them more than performing for new audiences. Friend of the Hutto Dog Park support NATIONAL NIGHT OUT! Come out to Fritz Park, bring your neighbors and enjoy a night of music! The concert series comes to a close on Tuesday, August 5 with a performance from the 2014 Austin Music Awards’ nominee for “Best Blues Act” the ERIC TESSMER BAND. The show will cap the night as the annual National Night Out Celebration comes to a close at Fritz Park.
