Thank you for supporting the Newton community!
PetSafe needs to know your community government supports your pursuit of a dog park. To complete this task, notify your civic leaders (ie: mayor, county executive, city manager, Parks and Recreation director) of the contest and encourage them to create an account to upload a letter.details & downloads
This step is optional, but getting your pups' faces in the media can't hurt. Get in touch with your local news station and print media to rally support for the new park!add media links
This is a come-and-go session at Mojo's Coffee Bar, 11am-12pm. This event is to give an introduction to the Bark for Your Park contest Newton is competing in for a $100,000 or $25,000 prize towards our dog park. We may also discuss where planning for the dog park is now, but the recent Kansan article provided a very good summary. Feel free to come with any questions and input you may have. If you would like to be walked through registration and voting for the first time, a laptop will be available, but please bring yours if you have a laptop. Thank you!
