• Measure the height of your sliding glass door. Our door inserts fit patio doors 76 ¾ -  86 inches tall or from 93 - 96 inches tall.
• Select the color you want for your pet door. Our sliding door inserts come in bronze, satin, or white.
• Measure each pet who will use the door to choose the right size of the flap opening.

Your pets can share the same pet door

Many of our pet doors can be used with small and large dogs and cats. Some door flaps are too heavy for cats or small dogs to use. Measure each pet who will use the door and check the weight and height recommendations for the pet door.

Installing a Sliding Door Insert

No cutting required

Pet door inserts install in minutes, with no cutting required, and give you years of freedom and convenience. Installing a pet door is easy with a little do-it-yourself knowledge.

1. Measure the height
2. Slide the insert into the sliding door frame
3. Lock the height adjuster and secure the insert
4. Install the lock, glass sweep, and weather stripping

Tools you might need: Drill, Drill bits, Screwdriver, Tape measure, Tape, Pencil, Scissors, Patio Panel Kit (recessed doors only)
