We asked, and you answered! You love your pets! This probably isn’t a surprise to most of you, but we were very touched at exactly how much you love and appreciate your furry friends. We had multiple entries to our “Share the Love Photo Contest,” and each one had a unique story. The photo descriptions ranged from shelter surprises and adoption fails all the way to supportive friends helping their pet parent through a disease or personal struggle. There's no doubt that our animal friends have an impact on our lives, and for that we celebrate. Happy Love Your Pet Day!

Meet Bubbles! Bubbles entered my life Labor Day weekend 2012 when my daughter brought him home for me. I really didn't want a puppy, but Jessica got him for me because in May 2012, I lost my son, and she felt he would be the perfect therapy dog! Well it didn't take long for me to fall in love with him! Then my husband! 1 1/2 years later he's become our "special" spoiled baby! He's my grief counselor, my joy and my best furry friend! Thanks to my daughter Jessica! We miss you Justin!

Ginger my 17 year old passed away July 2014. After a couple of months I was missing a little fuzz ball! I saw a picture at my local Animal Control Center of the tiny black and white kittens! I went to see them and when I walked up to the cage they were in, she was all the way back in the corner. When I put my fingers up to the door, she walked over all the other kittens to get to my fingers! I knew she was to be mine! She talked all the way home so I named her Gabbie! I just love her!
