Denise Piaskowski, DVM, MPH

Dr. Piaskowski graduated from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and has been in small animal general practice for 16 years. She also has a special interest in public health and zoonotic diseases (diseases transmitted from animals to people), recently completing a Master of Public Health degree through the University of Iowa.

In 2014, Dr. Piaskowski started Valley Veterinary House Calls, a mobile veterinary service providing in-home care for dogs and cats. Dr. Piaskowski’s house call practice focuses on preventative health care as well as hospice and end of life care.  Dr. Piaskowski enjoys seeing her patients in the comfort of their home environment, reducing the anxiety associated with a veterinary appointment for both pets and their families. She enjoys the close relationships she forms with clients in house call visits.

Dr. Piaskowski shares her home with her family, which includes 3 cats, 1 guinea pig, and 1 very mischievous Golden Retriever.
