She has a BS in Operations Management, and 14 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing.
She volunteers with the Most Pet Friendly Community initiative that has a mission of making Knoxville, Tennessee the most pet friendly community in America.
Her Lhasa Apso, Cooper, logs the same hours at the office as Stacie. Cooper enjoys sharing his tales for the PetSafe blog, which his mother happily transcribes for him.

Happy Howl’idays everyone!! I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving and is as ready for Christmas as I am. I’ve been working really hard to stay on Santa Paw’s nice list this year. I’ve also been working on my Christmas list. Here is the letter my mom helped me write to Santa Paws.
Training is a commitment and requires a big investment of time and patience. But the return on that investment is a well-adjusted, happy pet who fits appropriately into your household. I’ve worked all year long to make sure that Cooper is well-behaved. He is friendly and genuinely has a happy disposition. In my opinion, he is exceptionally well behaved and intelligent for a furry child who just turned one. Most days he is far better behaved than I am. In fact, I sometimes wonder who is training whom in this partnership we share!
First, I want to wish everyone a really happy Thanksgiving. My mom has been explaining Thanksgiving to me, and it sounds great! You see, this is my first Thanksgiving in a REAL home. This year my mom says we get to celebrate the day I was born, and – on top of that – we get to celebrate Thanksgiving! I really can’t wait to taste turkey for the first time! From what I hear, it must be the most delicious thing in the world. I can’t imagine anything being better than cookies, but I am ready to give it a try.
Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday of the entire year. Most people would choose Christmas or maybe Halloween, but I love Thanksgiving. I love that no presents are necessary, but you get together with people you love to share a wonderful meal. I even love that it takes many hours and sometimes days to prepare all of the wonderful food that is consumed in 15 minutes or less. Thanksgiving is truly a wonderfully unique American holiday and, through the years, I have established many traditions of my own.
I love everything about going to work with my mom except for one thing. There are monsters in the parking lot. Everyone is so shocked when I tell them about the monsters because it is such a nice place to go every day. We even have a park just for doggies!! I’ll tell you how I first came to know about these monsters in the parking lot.
I have always humanized my dogs; I have very little regard for what the so-called “experts” have to say about that type of behavior. I have always talked about them and to them as if they were human. This has led many co-workers over the years to make the assumption that I had small children, which in my mind I do.
